Description

• This is very preliminary prototype. It currently tackles only 1 out of 29 court case hearing lists.
• morph.io supports scraping the sites once per day, and provide download CSV and SQLite for further storage

To Contribute

1. Extend and modify the scrape.py to tackle all 29 courts case hearing list
   • scraper.py is current written for running on Python 2.7.14 due to the limitation of morph.io and Python 2.7 is going to be deprecated in 2020.

1. Setup to permanent Database hosting server

   • Storing everyday information is essential for further analysis.
   • Cost? Storage? Availability? (Amazon Web Service? Heroku? Google Cloud Platform?)

2. Front-end User Interface

   • Required to open to public users to access the information.

3. Legal Issues

   • This project might cause legal issue related to piracy. Legal advises are appreciated
   • Could that be granted excemptions from particular aspect, such as research domain?
