The successful organisation shall undertake an independent and robust process to ascertain the cost of care in care home settings, including care homes with nursing, within North Yorkshire and York, which has due regard to the actual cost of providing care and other relevant local factors.

To register your place at one of the sessions please email - - Your name/company name of delegate/s - Date/Venue selected To nyps@northyorks.gov.uk _____________________________________ Yorkshire and Humber Adoption Consortium Approved Provider List for Therapeutic Services The 15 Local Authorities (the Consortium) within the Yorkshire and Humber region are undertaking a procurement exercise to develop a list of service providers who can deliver therapeutic services to support adoptive families who will have a wide range of adoption related needs. These types of services could include (but not limited to): Emotional identification therapy Self-regulation therapies Bonding and attachment therapy Emotional literacy provision Stress management therapy Play therapy Music therapy Creative arts therapy Physical therapy Occupational therapy Speech-language therapy The Consortium will be hosting a series of Market Engagement sessions throughout the region in June/July 2015 to explore the range of therapeutic services available, provide an overview of the procurement process and the opportunity to discuss the range of therapeutic needs and options. The dates and venues for these sessions can be located in the attachment section of YORtender (bottom of this page). This invitation is for any UK service provider who can deliver adoption therapy services. We are aware that with limited availability around 30 places per session (York 50 places) that some service provider will not be able to attend please be aware that all presentation slides, questions raised on the day with answers plus any other documentation will be circulated via YORtender. NYCC wishes to award a contract for the construction of Staynor Hall Primary School: Jacobs UK Ltd has been commissioned by NYCC Children and Young People’s Services as lead consultant for the design of a new 235 place Primary School and associated infrastructure at Staynor Hall, Abbot’s Road, Selby. Jacobs UK Ltd as part of their consultancy agreement with NYCC will provide full multi-disciplinary design services for the new building. The 2 hectare greenfield site is located in the centre of a new residential development adjacent the A63 arterial road on the outskirts of Selby. The single storey building has an L shaped footprint of approximately 1700 m2 gross floor area and will be constructed using a steel portal frame with brick/block and rendered external wall panels and a tiled roof. External windows and doors will be powder coated aluminium double glazed units. Natural daylighting is supplemented through the provision of patent glazed roof lights. Mechanical and Electrical services are to be simple with basic controls to complement the natural daylighting and ventilation strategies embodied in the design. Externally areas include permeable paving, tarmacadam roads and playgrounds together with habitat area and playing fields. More detailed information will be contained in the ITT documentation, which will subsequently be issued to qualified applicants.
